With 12work, the city of Mechelen wants to eliminate the thresholds in the traditional recruitment process. Every possible course of action of both the jobseeker and the employer was investigated and tested via this route. 12work is inspired by the principle of open hiring. In this regard, employees are recruited based on motivation and the order in the registration list. Job interviews, CVs and reference checks are therefore entirely a thing of the past. It is no longer the one with the most impressive CV or the most unabashed self-promotion who gets the job. The lengthy and punishing procedures of the recruitment process are also eliminated. This time saving can then be spent on supporting and developing the new employee in the workplace. Because you learn by doing... The branding of 12work is full of energy, just like the candidates: playful, dynamic and fresh. In visual language, people in all their diversity are put in the spotlight. Text is limited to a minimum and used in a simple way to keep it as accessible as possible. Because at 12work, everyone gets a fair chance.
