Digiphy

Digiphy is a Mixed Reality design and communication tool that creates an impressive experience by seamlessly combining Virtual Reality (VR) with a physical carrier. Within the automotive industry, Digiphy is the logical next step towards further digitisation of the design and review process and the tool reduces the slower and more expensive physical part of the design process to its essence. Digiphy was designed as an open-ended platform for designers and allows a wide range of physical carriers to be integrated, making it suitable for many applications. Interactive design aspects, such as the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI), are becoming increasingly important. Digiphy makes it possible to experience all aspects of design - shape, colour, material, light, movement and sound - at full size. Various Digiphys can communicate with each other in real time, allowing reviews to be organised where participants are not in the same location, avoiding frequent expensive and distant travel. Moreover, the flexibility of Digiphy allows designers to operate in a more compact space. One Digiphy can be used to simulate different designs, so that fewer physical carriers are needed. This provides not only a direct cost advantage, but also an advantage in storage space and related costs. Physical models are also expensive and take a lot of time to build.
