The case is described as hybrid because it uses a mix of hard and soft material components. The hard components are the core of the Litesphere concept. These are thermally shaped design components with exceptional wear properties: a chain of ceramic discs is applied to a flexible surface. The process was coined Pointshock® and guarantees high scratch resistance and long-term protection.
All component overlaps are designed to be as flat as possible, to limit protrusions as much as possible. This is true of the wheels, the handle, the logo, the feet, etc. Not only is the case very aerodynamic, but it will survive the sometimes very rough handling that can be expected at the airport.
