This ergonomic clothes peg is made entirely of plastic and therefore without the traditional metal spring. Development, material selection, prototyping and testing resulted in a leaf spring with effective clasping results in the short and long term.

The strength of the spring is optimised, so that it has sufficient strength to hold the laundry but requires a minimum application of force by the user. The new freedom of form of the leaf spring is fully utilised by integrating it into the peg. It is voluminous and organic in shape, which expresses softness and the delicate way in which laundry is handled. On the outside of the peg, a soft-touch material has been used, which makes it feel pleasant and improves the grip. The same material on the inside ensures that the peg leaves no mark on the material.
