Nansi Van Geetsom

Nansi Van Geetsom studied interior architecture and instructional and educational sciences. She is a spatial and service designer, sr lecturer and researcher.

She is the founder and coordinator of the postgraduate course in Space and Service Design at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Mechelen. She also leads the research in service design and service environments.

As international coordinator of ID&A she founded the international network GIDE (Group for International Design Education). She was a visiting fellow at Jiangnan University in Wuxi (China) where she taught and conducted research on Product Service System Design. As a researcher and education scientist, she is passionate about space and service system design, design thinking for education, sustainable internationalisation of design education and design for social challenges.
